Michelle Amos

Associate Director Marketing and Digital, University of Salford

Michelle heads up the university marketing department with responsibility for marketing, digital, social media and web. She acts as the strategic lead for UG and PG Marketing, and actively employs a number of students within the team to provide an authentic account of the Salford student experience.

Michelle has over 20 years experience across Marketing, Business Development and Events working in both the public and private sector. She is especially interested in the use of market insight and analytics to inform campaign activity and the impact of user generated content on conversion metrics.

She is also a Trustee and Director for the Arts and Entertainment Board of the Grand Theatre Blackpool, taking a special interest in the story-led resilience programme which sees children critically analyse theatre, to learn from the characters' own resilient traits.
