The Different Paths to Success for Young People Today

There is no linear path to success for young people today - university, apprenticeships, entrepreneurship, the gig economy and more are all viable options for this generation. We dig deeper into what young people want from the world of work and how organisations are responding.

Why we’re excited:

  • In her role at the Brixton Finishing School, Simone has developed a strong passion for empowering underrepresented talent and creating opportunities for them.

  • Sharing her perspective from the gig economy, Alyssa will reveal how she engages Deliveroo’s community of riders who are often students or young people and why upskilling and education is key to attracting and retaining gig economy workers.

  • Kris is part of the brand marketing team at BBC Studios and she’s passionate about developing talent and creating opportunities for underrepresented communities, employee engagement and creating memorable campaigns.

  • Dorothy’s passion for broadening the perspectives of the hiring managers and to embed a culture of giving people a chance when it comes to hiring and retaining Gen Z talent shines in her role at giffgaff.
