delyth lewis, young parliament project manager, national assembly for wales
Delyth Lewis graduated from the University of Wales, Aberystwyth with a BA Hons Degree in History and Politics. Having studied the establishment of the National Assembly for Wales during her university course between 1999-2002, Delyth was inspired to work at the Assembly and started a 15 year career at the organisation as a tour guide.
From here, Delyth has held numerous roles within the communications team including Regional Outreach officer and Events Manager, managing high profile events such as Olympic and Commonwealth Homecoming events, the Assembly’s 10 year anniversary programme, Votes @ 16 conference and the Royal Opening of the Fourth And Fifth Assemblies. Delyth has also experienced secondments with Sport Wales and the Wales Governance Centre. In 2017, Delyth took up the post of Youth Parliament Project Manager and is currently overseeing the implementation of the first ever Welsh Youth Parliament.
