Over her 18+ years in the marketing industry, Lucy has worked both agency side and with some of the most exciting content brands in the world, in both creative and strategic content planning roles.
Attracted by YouTube - the most revolutionary platform and culture engine of today, Lucy joined Google at the beginning of 2016 as Head of Content Solutions, EMEA. This means she looks after all the good brand stuff at YouTube - Premium Content, Branded Content, Sponsorships & Programming, deciphering how and why it works for advertisers, and how they can crack the YouTube code to win engagement at scale.
Prior to that, Lucy was Exec Creative Director at Bauer Media for 5 years, where she worked with over 80 iconic print, digital, tv, radio brands (Empire, Grazia, Kiss, 4Music, The Debrief, Q, heat, etc), and in 2015 launched ‘Adventure’ - a Cultural Creative Agency ‘start-in’, merging editorial and Ad creative talent in a new content model.
She began her career agency side as a planner, eventually working as ECD at ZenithOptimedia, where she led the planning and set up OPEN (the creative division) during her 5 year tenure there.
